Early Response in a Series of Tweets
The print version of The Web Project Guide has been out for about a month, now, and we are blown away by the response. Thanks so much to everyone who has picked up a copy. Given the amount of work it took to get this far, we’re excited to see The Web Project Guide already making the social media rounds.
A huge thanks to everyone behind the scenes here at Blend who made this happen, including the current promotional and order fulfillment side of the operation: Taylor Lopour, Karla Santi, and Tori Houwman. None of this would be happening with them.
And with that, let’s take a look at some of the action out on Twitter!
The more complex web work gets, the harder it is to provide newcomers to the ecosystem (and old-timers who are trying to shift gears) with The Big Picture™. @MrVilhauer and @deane_barker have really done that with @WebProjectGuide. I'm genuinely impressed.

HELLO gorgeous! @MrVilhauer & @deane_barker’s Web Project Guide just arrived and “comprehensive” is an understatement: scoping, audience discovery, message architecture, content modeling, CMS selection, backend implementation, picklebacks, swoop’n’poops, and beyond. You need it. pic.twitter.com/gJ7dVFPNBz

If an organization you're part of is asking "How do we even website?", you should get a few copies of The Web Project Guide to pass around. It's a lot of content strategy, yes, but made practical for everyday folk trying to build better websites. https://t.co/ZtB9IFudf0
