Web Analytics

Web analytics is the measurement and interpretation of visitor behavior: what people do once they reach your site, where they came from, and where they drop off. It turns vague hunches about your audience into numbers you can act on.

The measuring is the easy part, since tools collect page views, sessions, and bounce rate automatically. The hard part is interpretation. A spike in traffic means nothing until you know whether those visitors did anything useful, which is why analytics works best when tied to specific KPIs and conversions.
