Open Graph
Open Graph (OG) is a metadata standard that controls how your page looks when someone shares it on social media. The OG tags in a page's markup specify the title, description, and image that show up in the preview card on a platform like Facebook or LinkedIn.
Without Open Graph tags, the network guesses, and can mistakingly grab a random image and an awkward snippet. When you set them deliberately, a shared link arrives looking intentional. This work sits close to the meta description and meta title you write for search.
